As Trust Manager, Paulina oversees the stable of Trust and Managed Companies that we look after, which is comprised predominantly of Guernsey Retirement Annuity Trusts. An in-depth knowledge of the related local tax and GFSC legislation gives Paulina the ability to field the more technical aspects and queries in relation to RATS that crop up on a regular basis.

Having joined the firm in 2007 after eight years in an accountancy role at Deutsche Bank's trust company looking after international trust and company structures, Paulina went on to complete the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioner (TEP) qualification and gained a solid grounding to complement the fiduciary services that we offer.

These skills give her the ability to deal with a wide range of clients and her role on a day to day basis includes:

• Meeting prospective new clients to discuss appropriate solutions for their pension or legacy requirements;
• Responding to calls and queries from existing clients and third parties and maintaining the ongoing relationships;
• Taking on problem cases and ensuring a smooth transition of Trusteeship; and
• Overseeing the administration team to ensure that a personal and first class service is delivered

Outside of the office, Paulina has two children that demand much of her time (mainly as a taxi service) but beyond that, escaping to the beach or common with her husband and the dog gives some much deserved R & R.
