Mike is one of our Directors. He started his accountancy career with PwC in 1995 (then Coopers & Lybrand) at which time his work focused on the audit of financial services companies. After qualifying as a Chartered Accountant in 1999 he worked in Australia on various specialised projects before joining Collenette Jones in 2001.

In addition to his background in audit, Mike has a detailed knowledge of Guernsey tax and Company Law and a huge amount of experience in providing individuals and businesses with a wide-range of services, including accountancy, tax, audit, business sales and acquisitions. He especially enjoys the more unusual and challenging projects set by our clients from time to time.

Mike was educated at Elizabeth College, Guernsey and went on to read Physics at Wadham College, Oxford University and later study for an MSc in Aerodynamics at Cranfield University. After graduating Mike travelled extensively, working in France and Australia, before starting a career in Accountancy in 1995.

Outside work Mike enjoys spending time with his family, helping children learn to sail, hiking, biking, cooking and eating and generally being as close to the water as possible.
