Planning early for succession
Other than the bigger UK and international businesses, there are few Guernsey businesses that have been around for more than one or two generations. Some businesses fail because their products or services are no longer needed or because they have suffered some calamity. But there are many which just fade away because their owners have failed to do any proper succession planning.

30 September 2016 - Collenette Jones deadline for our clients to submit their records so that we can get their accounts and tax returns submitted by the following 15 January
15 October 2016 - Distribution, ETI, and States Insurance returns need submitting for the previous quarter 1 July to 30 September
31 October 2016 - Voluntary strike offs have to be registered by this date with the Guernsey Registry in order for the company to avoid having to submit its next Annual Validation
